I stay here year after year and am never disappointed. Wonderful people, perfect location, beautiful appointments, good service ... absolutely no complaints. Enjoy! P.S. I have rated the pool which is part of the Klosters sports complex nearby, not in the hotel itself.

Room Tip: Main building is classy. Annex is wonderfully old world.

We only stayed one night of our road trip and booked into the chalet part of the Chesa Grischuna as we had a young daughter with us and wanted something 'authentic' in the Swiss style. It did not disappoint. The chalet is 1 minute walk from the main hotel. Our room was on the ground floor. It was all wood pannelled in the Swiss style, had very comfortable beds and although the bathroom was dated it had character and was spotless. The main hotel has alot of character too.

We had dinner that evening on the outdoor terrace and it was the best meal of our entire trip. The food was beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. They specially made a vegetarian risotto for my daughter and she ate all of it!

The breakfast spread was good too, lots of variety and freshly baked breads.

Fantastic hotel. Service was excellent. The rooms were fantastic. Really comfortable. Beautifully decorated with amazing bed linen etc. Very difficult to get out of bed as so comfortable. Slept brillianty.Ensuite bathroom great also.
The only negative thing I would say is the prices for Dinner. Incredibly expensive! Makes top london restaurants seem cheap!!

This is one of the finest hotels I have stayed at in Europe. My partner and I were there for a friends wedding and stayed at Chesa. The staff were amazing, Barbara and Marianne could not have been more helpful and gave us a beautiful south facing room, which was very well appointed. The terrace afforded stunning views over the countryside and it was on this terrace that I asked my partner to marry me. The food was excellent both in quality and service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a break either for skiing or walking in the wonderful countryside around.

Room Tip: Ask for a south facing room - best views.

I've just come back from a magical day in the Swiss mountains. Barbara Rios-Guler - the owner of the hotel - has a small hunting lodge high up in the Klosters mountains (Sardasca valley to be exact). They've organised a day hike with lunch - it was simply brilliant. The same warm service, the good food, the attention to detail that we have experienced in the hotel...only here with an even more amazing view.

This Chesa Grischuna is very special to me and my family. We've been fortunate to celebrate many memorable occasions there - two generations of family weddings (including my own) and many warm evenings in the restaurant or the bar.

I highly recommend a visit - summer or winter!

Room Tip: Each room is unique and 'breathes' history - simply ask!

What a wonderful hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated as VIPS, ( which we aren't!) Our room was everything we had hoped for from this hotel, traditional wooden furniture, comfy beds and armchairs, fabulous soft furnishings, useful lamps, balcony overlooking the street with views to the mountains beyond. The bathroom was larger than expected in an old building with lovely complimentary toiletries. There was water and a basket of fruit in our room, which was a welcome touch.
I was impressed by the fact that the owner made sure she introduced herself to all her guests, many of whom return year after year.
Our stay included evening meals and on our first evening we were invited to a drink on the house. The food was wonderful, the waiting staff attentive, and Steffan, the maitre d, made sure we were well looked after. His attention to detail and to us really made our stay. The service was the best we have experienced in Europe and on a par with that in some well known restaurants in New York, such as Babbos. If you have the chance to stay in this hotel - go ahead, you won't be disappointed. If we are in Klosters again we will make a return visit.

We have stayed at the Chesa Grischuna for many winter holidays and keep returning. We love the charm, familiarity, the rustic details throughout the main hotel and the Chalet. The food is wonderful and never disappointing. The service is excellent. THe hotel is run by Barbara Guler and a staff that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere, from the moment you check in. It is conveniently located to the Gotshchna ski lift.
