“Lovely location, friendly staff”
Reviewed 8 August 2014

Stayed here for 11 nights holiday package with Kuoni as a family of 4. We have not stayed in this part of Switzerland before but the hotel is in a super village location with nice views,

We had a family room with interconnecting door which suits us well and the rooms were spacious and well cared for, in fact I thought housekeeping to be one of the best we've experienced. The bathrooms were a decent size and I think that most if not all rooms have balconies.

There was a nice gym/pool/spa area and towels and robes were always available. There was free wifi but to be honest it was not great and could do with improvement.

The food at the hotel was quite good. Breakfast was the usual swiss fayre and although some days supply was a little slow, everything was fresh. The evening meal was the option of a buffet or culinary menu in the Stubli. Our party was split about which one was preferred so we generally had alternate nights at each. When there was tours in however I found the buffet to be quite manic and not very relaxing.

Staff were very good and looked after us well, we had a nice summer holiday and should we go back to the region we would almost certainly stay at the Silvretta Parkhotel.

Due to some unknown coincidences, we were able to stay in this 4 star hotel. (it would otherwise not be within our budget!). Perhaps because we were with 5 persons, we had a room - well it was more like an appartment: 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living, a kitchen and certainly plenty of romm for the 5 of us. This was very comfortable with 3 kids. We very much enjoyed both breakfast and supper. It was all within our expectations, and even more.
The location was also very good. Within walking distance , there was a public swimming pool, where, while in the water, you could look at the snowy mountains. Very cool.
Within our hotel arrangment, we also had free passes for public transportation, which we used quite often. The hotel even paid back our roads vignette (+/- €40). Nice! Bottom line, we had a super vacation in this hotel and its surroundings. (we stayed there in august 2011)

Stayed here as part of Riviera tour. Had a room overlooking the front of the hotel into the town and mountains. Room was nice, clean and had patio doors onto large terrace. Lovely tv but no English channels available apart from CNN. We had buffet evening meals, good choice of starters, main course, deserts and cheeses. Very easy to OD on deserts! Breakfast was also buffet with some bacon and sausages but mainly continental. Staff pleasant and helpful. Pool was quite good to say it was a hotel pool, slightly on the cool side at first. Beware the sauna!! make sure you want to go in the nude sauna!! There is a normal one too. Did enjoy our stay.

Stayed here for a long weekend of skiing. The hotel is close to the station and cable car, staff are really nice and helpful too. Yes the rooms could do with a face lift, however it's a reasonably priced option in an expensive resort. The pool was good and welcome after a days skiing. Generally a good hotel.

Great location, friendly staff, decent sauna/pool area. A la carte dinner at Stübli was excellent, breakfast buffet not very exciting, though; would have expected a bit more for a 4 star hotel. Overall, a great stay, but don't expect "Asian" or "Austrian" 4 star level.

This hotel is ideally located near the train station and near the Gotschnabahn (= cable car which gives access to the Davos Klosters ski slopes). Moreover, rooms are spacious and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Its wellness area is maybe a bit small, but was sufficient to relax after a skiing day. I would also recommend to have a typical Swiss dinner at the hotel, the meals were delicious!

I have to write this review even though I did not stay at the Silvretta, but at the neighbouring Hotel Rustico.

The wellness centre is so professional and an absolute credit to the hotel.

On arrival, Ms Martin and her staff make you immediately feel warmly welcome. The facilities are spotless but not clinical.

The exfoliation and massage I had were simply wonderful - a highlight of my three week holiday. Ms Martin was sensitive to me being pregnant and my treatment was tailored accordingly. The massage of back and shoulders was bliss and the Scen Tao oil smelt amazing.

Included in treatment is use of the hot stones room and the herbal steam room (amazing, opened up the respiratory system) and juice/water.

Thank you!
