This hotel is beautifully situated on Lake Geneva . Rooms have balconies overlooking the lake seperated from the lake only by a lakeside path and their gardens . Prices are expensive but not out of line for the area . The room I had felt a bit tired from a decor perspective although the bathroom was nice . The whole hotel could do with a spruce up I think . Breakfast was adequate / good and included but the WiFi was expensive and not included . Its a short taxi ride to the station (CHf 12 ) or a pleasant 20 min walk along the lake and through the delightful town . On this occasion I did not use the restaurants for dinner but have used the bistro in the past - excellent steak with their trademark sauce .

Room Tip: it's worth asking for an upgrade to a double even if you're travelling alone

The hotel is about a 20 minutes walk from the train station, but walking along the edge of the lake with gorgeous views makes it worthwhile, even when it is -6 degrees

The welcome was good and efficient.

The view from our very clean, warm bedroom and the balcony was stunning - over the lake to the mountains. Beautiful!

We ate at the hotel and I had the best fillet steak I have ever had. The service was first class

My only complaint was, as a British citizen, I am used to having tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. Here they don't have it in the bedrooms, and that was a pain especially after a long trip

Room Tip: Ask for a room overlooking the lake

I only spent a couple of days there, but La Fleur du Lac is a nice, cosy, well run hotel and a very pleasant place to stay. It is a comfortable walking distance from "down-town" Morges and the walk along the edge of the lake is beautiful. My room had a spectacular view across the lake and it was comfortable, clean, a decent size, and well maintained and the hotel also has a very nice bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and efficient. If I were to look for potential negatives, then the breakfast choices were a bit limited, and the lack of airconditioning may be an issue in the height of summer. Otherwise I would strongly recommend
La Fleur du Lac.

And the hotel was very reasonably priced in my opinion.

Too bad the bar closes early, but the staff from the restaurant was so kind to bring us some drinks anyway.

We spent 4 wonderful days in this hotel after selecting it at random. Reception was fantastic - friendly, welcoming, helpful. Hotel staff were always top notch with service and suggestions. Everyone made an effort to make us feel at home.
Only disappointment was the lack of air conditioning, but we were given a nice fan to keep the air moving and that made it almost perfect.
Lots of storage space - rare in many hotel rooms - and a great lack of noise from the hallway.
Great breakfasts, even on weekends, and an excellent restaurant for dinner.
The views of the lake and grounds from the room terrace were a great start to each day.
HIGHLY recommended.

Room Tip: Face the lake.
