I have really enjoyed my stay at the Shloss, everything was easy and well organised especially when you travel with kids. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, a really friendly atmosphere.
Traveling to and from st Moritz for skiing was easy with the bus stop right infront of the hotel garage.
The family room was very large and comfortable for 4 people.
It has been a good holiday

The hotel beat our expectations by miles. I would recommend this as a family hotel for its service, food, comfort and, above all, friendliness. Not forgetting the Spa and the pastry chef. We will certainly return and will probably try other TH hotels assuming we would get the same friendly welcome.

I went to Schloss Hotel during Christmas time with my boyfriend and we loved it. From the room we had an unforgettable view of the whiten valley with the red Bernina train running next to the river. The same view that I enjoyed from the wellness area drinking a cup of tea after skiing. The wellness area is very silent, relaxing and has different rooms (saunas, steam baths, pools...), which I never found crowded. The hotel is clean, tidy, and with nice and professional staff. We always had breakfast and dinner in the hotel, and we enjoyed them. Especially dinners with Swiss dishes and always a variety of desserts. Plus, beside that, It's very handy to go skiing from the hotel either by car or bus. Finally the ski room guy is always willing to give great suggestions on where to go skiing (there are 3 main areas), and what kind of equipment is suitable. He's been always really helpful. Great holidays!

This Christmas week was our second visit to Pontresina and the Schloss. We chose the village for the organized Swiss Ski school for our daugthers (excellent learning experience). We chose the Schloss for its good value for money (around EUR 200 per day for all of us) and its central (though not noisy) location. We also chose half board, meaning we were having a very full (though standard and kind of dull) breakfast and a wide dinner buffet (with soup, cheeses, cured meats, pasta ... and some meat now and then, of rather mediocre quality).

The hotel is an old Club Med hotel, taken over by TH Resorts, an italian firm after a fire almost destroyed it in the late '90s. They refurbished it (almost) completely, adding a spa and a nice indoor swimming pool. They kept the "Club Med feeling" though but in its italian version. This means you are offered a very good baby sitting service in case your kids are young enough for the slopes, there is a "theater show" around 9pm in the CM way, the dinner is buffet and abundant and also you are surrounded by middle class Italian families, kind of noisy sometimes, and the staff speaks good italian but poor english.
The room we got was the Family room with view which is big enough to sleep the four of us, leaving space for the girls to play in their own (!) room and us to relax in our queen bed, watching the excellent view of the Morteratch glacier. The room is very well heated (even when the temperature fell well below -5 Celsius), the bathroom was large and very clean, the room was cleaned every day and towels changed and we had 2 TVs to watch the (well known) italian public and private channels...
The negative points were the quality of food sometimes (the dessert chef is however, very good - they changed the one they had last year - and he prepared rather good european sweets; try anything with a cream-filled chou) the inabiilty of the staff to speak something other than italian and swiss german and their lack of efficiency, esp. in checking in and out.

If you want to spend a family vacation, not bother about being surrounded by noisy italians, and the variety of the buffet is not a problem for you, then SCHLOSS is definitely your choice !

Room Tip: If you're a family of five or less, ask for a camera panoramica one level below reception. Big e...

A great location and short distance to ski school and other skiing facilities, easy bus ride to St. Moritz. Excellent, excellent dining facilities and service. The cabaret show played by the staff in one of the evenings was absolutely magnificent, very professional and very funny for both children and adults. I would recommend renting ski equipment from somewhere else outside the hotel, especially snowboards were old and outdated. Besides that, a very enjoyable experience!

I’ve spent a week-end at the end of February with my child in this wonderful location and had really great time. Very courteous and helpful staff, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, wonderful position and easy access to the town center.
The SPA area has fantastic Bio-Sauna, the atmosphere is extremely relaxing and from the swimming pool you can enjoy suggestive snow view through the glass walls.
My child enjoyed so much the kids-theatre in the evening, organized in a real theatre part of the Hotel. Very nice and pleasant for the adults too.
I recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to have all the commodities in one place.
