“'Super service'”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

We were part of a large group filling the chalet for the last week of the season with a mix of skiers and non skiers and wide ranging ages. The service provided by all staff was friendly, professional and caring for everyone's varied needs. Restaurant quality food for all meals with plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner in the evening. The rooms, both shared areas and bedrooms are particularly spacious and comfortable. Location is just perfect for lifts, ski school and strolling through the town, we enjoyed a variety of walks from the chalet and using the local free bus service. Blue skies and sunshine then an amazing amount of snow gave us fantastic views.

Chalet was perfect location for slopes: across the road and one building away from main gathering point for lifts and morning ski school. Rooms were generous compared to many comparably priced/star-rated chalets. Beds were good length for anyone under 6'6", firm mattress and solid build. I had one cold shower in the evening but otherwise the hot water was available.
Staff in resort were amazing: it was almost the last week of the season but they were fresh and keen to engage and ensure a pleasant stay. Food and wine were good, more greens would have been appreciated. We paid to have the option for our child to join us for dinner but we never opted for this as the early dinner proved to be the right time for our toddler who was in bed then by 7.30pm. Thank you to the team for a great week.
A note to groups booking who wish to fly together: make sure you book at the same time as our group got put on different flights which wasn't a great start or finish to our holiday.
A note to SkiTotal, please don't use Monarch airlines.

Room Tip: corner rooms are slightly larger

We had a great weeks skiing made all the better by our stay at this chalet hotel. The young staff led by Sarah gave great service and always with a smile. The Ski Total rep, Nick, was always happy to advise and we had a great couple of mornings guided by him. The hotel, as others have said, is a little dated, but spotless. The rooms are large, quiet, the beds comfortable, and there was always plenty of hot water for that essential bath at the end of a long skiing day. Surprisingly, apart from a bar of soap, no toiletries were provided. It was also a bonus that you could ski back to the hotel. The food could not be faulted and the wine flowed. We like to go to different resorts but would definitely look at booking something similar with Ski Total for next ski season.

Room Tip: Our room faced front, 22, and although very quiet at night was a little noisy in the mornings so I g...

The location is great, you really could not get a better spot. The food and staff are fantastic. I would defiantly return. The only negative is the hotel decor is outdated & would prefer if kids tea was served at 6:30 instead of 5:30 as a little to early.

The chalet/hotel is getting tired. The decor was dated. The jaccuzi and plunge pool were out of action during our stay and we had impression it would possibly not be fixed before end of season. The staff employed by Ski Total, who run the chalet/hotel, were very good and extremely friendly. The food was very good and the service could not be faulted.

Room Tip: The views from the front of the building are superb but the adjacent bars can be noisy

My friend and I have just returned from a fantastic week in Saas Fee skiing. Snow conditions were amazing and we had 4 days of bright blue skies and quiet runs - a skiers dream! However our holiday was made even better by our choice of accommodation. The Hotel itself is absolutely adequate in terms of rooms and space. Our room had twin beds and also a little sitting area with a balcony looking right up the slopes and a small fridge. The bar area was cosy with a real log fire and the dining room was a pleasant space to sit in. The added bonus of a pool, sauna and Jacuzzi was fantastic and we used it every day. The real positive about this hotel however was the staff. Under the very efficient guidance of the Hotel Manager Sarah, the team were friendly although not imposing, incredibly helpful and the service they provided was excellent. The food produced by young people was excellent too. Every night there were delicious canapés and an aperitif in the bar area which was then followed by a 3 course meal with unlimited wine and cheese and biscuits with coffee. There were choices too and you made your dinner choice at breakfast. Overall, I would highly recommend this resort and also this hotel for a very comfortable and pleasant ski holiday!

Room Tip: The 4th floor! Room 42 if possible!

Just returned from a weeks holiday, staying as part of a large group at this hotel. The hotel is really well situated just a short walk from two main lifts and the nursery slopes. There is a bar opposite which is busy at the end of the day with lively music but you can't hear it from inside this hotel. We found all of the staff to be very friendly and helpful and made us feel particularly welcome. I wouldn't hesitate to reccommend a stay here both for its location and friendly staff.
