Very nice hotel with fantastic staff that are extremely helpful. The layout of the hotel is a bit hampered by the age of the building but that also adds to the charm. View from the room was fantastic looking out over the Verbier village and beyond.

Only concern was the spa / wellness area which seemed a bit disjointed and perhaps not up to par for a hotel of this quality. It is still very good but having the jacuzzi and saunas in the cellar without any windows felt like being in a dungeon.

Restaurants were also good. Although less impressed by the gourmet restaurant which actually served us the same food we ordered in the cheaper traditional restaurant the night before.

Overall for us the service from the staff and the views is what made this hotel stand out.

A great place for a family holiday. Great spa and pool, rooms ok and restaurant great. Came in the autumn and really enjoyed the view and facilities even though no skiing.

Room inside was quite basic but nice for a chalet feel.

This is our third visit to"Chalet d'Adrien", As expected it was perfect but worst to stress is a new Spa , more cosy and professional , very comfortable by"Sisley";
the chef Marco continue to progress and the food is very delicate and simple .
To be noticed the Barman Damien , a real connoisseur in fine Whisky and Cognac
Finally the owners seem to be interest in Art as beautiful monumental statue in Bronze and Marble decorate the terrasse .
One word about the service ;Young and professional

Views stunning, rooms good to better, prices astronomical. Breakfast prices so over the top that you should walk to the town just 5-10 mins away all down hill walking and the bus service back is FREE. Small point, our plug adapter could not fit into their indented in the wall socket in the bathroom. Big point, we paid 5 star price for the 5 star hotel but the advertised sauna, jacuzzi, steam room AND gym were out of action and they refused to offer us a refund. To get to the swimming pool (the only amenity on offer) we had to walk through a building site as they were doing up the place for the coming ski season and therefore did not take into account our wedding which was held at the hotel and was full for the occasion. Apart from the refund incident, staff v.friendly.

We stayed at Chalet d'adrien for a family wedding, which was held right here in the hotel. The wedding was magical, beautifully staged and being part of the start of 2 people's life together as the sun set over the alps brought to mind the sort of thing you normally only see in Hello magazine.

Verbier is everything you expect from a Swiss ski resort that has just got its first blanket of snow and this hotel is about the highest point you can stay here. We booked a suite because we are a family of 4, this had 2 spacious rooms and 2 toilets and an unrivalled view of the town and mountains. Room seemed to be in a relatively new part of the hotel so we did have to walk through a minor building site to get to it, which was a little bit of a spoiler.

Staff are friendly and helpful with a hint of Swiss formality and reserve, our cases ended up paint streaked after our first walk through the building site, but these were cleaned up within the hour with a genuine apology and some free drinks.

Breakfast at 40francs is a bit disappointing. The range of food on offer is fine but there isnt any breakfast food in the world that's worth that sort of money. You could find something cheaper in town but it's a 15-20 minute walk away so the 40franc scrambled egg is the path of least resistance.

Room Tip: Mountain view is a must.

Stayed there for three nights on a trip for mainly business (but it was a pleasure) and would most definitely recommend it if you want luxury when staying in Verbier. If you want somewhere cheap to rest your head whilst skiing then it won't be for you as it is expensive. However, Verbier is an expensive place, period! I don't know about the general rooms but considering that space is also a premium in Verbier, the suites in Chalet D'Adrien are fairly roomy and very well equipped. Ours also had a lovely view from a nice balcony. An additional washroom/toilet in the suite was also very welcome. The free Wifi was very reliable.

We were there at the very end of the season and hence the Michelin starred restaurant was closed but the food in the other restaurant (the Grenier) was absolutely excellent. Delicious, faultless and rather an eclectic menu, meaning that there would be something to appeal to just about everyone in my view.

They have a lovely cocktail menu, which we enjoyed before dinner and the service at all times was spot on. All the staff we encountered were friendly and yet extremely professional. Further, they could not do enough to help us. It appeared to us that our comfort and enjoyment was paramount - good management!

I used the swimming pool on two occasions - it isn't huge, but big enough for light exercise and it has a great view.

There was a problem with our stay that manifested itself on our final day, but it was sorted entirely to my satisfaction, so there is no way I would mark it down for that and is unlikely to affect any future guests in any event.

We will definitely be staying there again when we next visit Verbier.
