The hotel seems like many others in villages like Lenzerheide. Efficient check in, functional room and a good breakfast. The location allows you to walk around the town of Lenzerheide or off to the lake. The lifts to get into the mountains are in walking distance in summer but probably a bit much with your ski stuff in winter. The hotel offers a pass to access all lifts in the area which is a great bonus since these tend to cost an arm and a leg, like most things in Switzerland. Counting with the lift pass the value for money for this hotel is excellent.

I rated this average-(four stars a bit off the main street and nothing that captivated me) but for the money- it can be classified as very good.

On a business trip, I followed the reviews and checked this place out....seemed to do the trick for what I needed- and it did.

Building (the outside) is dated and rather dull (but in fairness it was raining and foggy)
The lobby is also rather cavernous and feels impersonal
Dog lying around like he's just about had enough of the place
Staff quite prompt and willing to help
A couple of hundred meters from the 'main drag' in Lenzerheide...close but a 4-5min walk to the center

Room good sized and spotless - Real Swiss cleanliness- love it.
Bedding and towels were good and the toiletries good.
Nice sized TV
Paying internet (not cool in my book)
Found the breakfast to be very good- special mention to the croissants.

Niggles? The doors are super thin and if you are near a fire door, when it slams, you feel it in your room....I recommend asking for rooms away from the fire doors/elevators.
Double billed me after I paid online but very nicely and promptly refunded when I called them.

I'd stay again but as mentioned...was not blown away.

We stayed with friends for a ski weekend. The reservation arrangements were straightforward and rooms were available for early check-in. Rooms themselves were fine and quiet. The breakfast buffet was good and lunch in the restaurant had a reasonable choice, but the bar was unpleasantly smoky. The pool was small and busy with lots of children. The hotel had a good ski and boot room and was convenient for the free ski bus which loops every 15 minutes to all the lifts. The hotel also sells lift passes at a small discount. Given that the hotel is quite expensive it is a shame that they charge extra for wireless access and for parking where space was quite limited.
The highlight was the helpfulness of the staff and nice touches like bowls of fruit and sweets in reception.

This is a desolate style-free hotel with barrack block architecture, located in a field half-way between the ski lifts and the main street.
The food was dull and uninteresting, the informal bar/restaurant reeked of a mix of stale and current smoke, and the main restaurant served a breakfast buffet which was passable at best.
The rooms were reminiscent of school trip quality, with only basic comforts. No way is this 4-star. Except for the price, which is right up there.
Staff were friendly and pleasant enough, but what could they do, with what they had to work with?
There was no atmosphere and everyone went off to bed at 9pm. Very dull. The clientele here were mainly dour locals; hardly any internationals. That said, I would say that not many International skiers come to Lenzerheide at all. Why? Because the skiing is OK, but badly connected, using lots of busses. But the prices for everything – even a cup of coffee are sky high. My recommendation is to give this hotel, and probably this town a miss.
