The Cambrian is perfectly positioned to take in amazing surroundings it is set in. When we were showed to our room (which had no view at all) we paid to upgrage to a room facing the maountains. This came at a cost, but one that was definitely worth it to be able to have a drink outside on the balcony.
The room was very large and clean as was the bathroom.
We both had a fantastic, incredibly relaxing massage in the wellness centre and loved relaxing in the outdoor spa taking in the view. This alone is a pretty special experience.
Every afternoon the hotel serves complimentary tea, coffee and cake in the loby bar, where you can sit outside and use the wifi.
Although not cheap, the restaurant was great for dinner. we loved the tuna entree, the cheese risotto and the veal chop (which was HUGE!).
The only negative was that we had to depart early in the morning (in a hurry) and it took the staff member on the reception desk far too long to check us out due to problems with the eftpos machines.More
