Stayed here as part of a ski package deal, having not been to Adelboden before.

Lovely room with balcony and view, friendly and helpful staff, good location (quiet yet central) and great food. Good sauna and steam room too. Excellent value.

All you could want for a family ski hotel and I would recommend it.

Excellent welcome, service, condition of the room. Everything is of very high quality and value. Breakfast is generous and high quality. We were very much spoiled during our stay (27-31 dec) Basically just like a very good 3 or 4 stars needs to be. We will be back soon again. Thank you very much for the warm welcome. Happy New Year.

Private family run hotel.I just enjoyed the great October weather for a short hiking holiday. The hotel was recommended to me from friends. And it was a great tip, Check in at the reception went very smooth and friendly the nice receptionist from Germany brought me up to my room and explained me all also gave me some great hiking tips. The room was excellent with a great view towards the mountain scenery. Breakfast was excellent with the hot corner also the cold buffet had all i needed to recommend is the swiss muesli. Sorry that I did not try the kitchen in the evening.

I will be back for sure.

We booked a two-bedroom apartment for a long week in October. Everthing from the online booking to being picked up and dropped off at the bus station was excellent. The room was clean, bis enough and well appointed with great views to the mountains. We were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Breakfast was good. We did not do dinner in the hotel, as we have a few favourite restaurants in the village.

Room Tip: Ask for south or southwestfacing rooms

We booked directly with the hotel for two adults and a baby. Staff was friendly, but not always very professional. Just one example : staff member while serving: "it's possible the soup is too cold'. The soup was definitely too cold. Response from staff member 'yes, soup should be hot. I'll warm it up for you'.

The hotel is located in the centre of Adelboden. Parking nearby is difficult (we counted 8 places), and the public car park was a stiff climb to the hotel. Public transport (bus station) is close to the hotel. Adelboden has a lot of shops, so catering for lunch is no problem. Two churches nearby. The sound isolation was very good, but sleeping with an open window was impossible for the baby. The church bells indicated time every 15 minutes from early in the morning till late in the evening.

The dinning room needs a good interior designer. It feels a bit dated,,and not in a nice way.

Breakfast was ok, but nothing more. Since we booked directly and payed too much probably, we could have eggs (hot and cold). Some people had to pay a surcharge for this as was indicated by small sign.

Dinner was not good. The set menu sounded great, but tasted mediocre at best. Fruit on almost every dish, a lot of stews. International kitchen. While we were staying, most of the guest were from the UK.
We asked the waiter for wine recommendation, but either he was unknowledgable or had a bad wine list to select from.

The room however was great : a room with a view, terrace, very spacious, typical Alpine with lots of massive wood. The bathroom was very nice, with bad tub. More than enough room to store all the clothes for us and the baby.

We didn't use sauna so I cannot comment on that.
