We have just got back from a midweek holiday to Darwin. We stayed in a 3 bed elite lodge on the edge of the park. The park and lodge is very clean, has all the extras you normally have to take, like tea towels, washing up liquid, hair dryer etc. lodges are spacious, but we only had two adults and two children, could imagine a bit of a tight squeeze with 6 adults. Very quite and peaceful. Our lodge got the sun most of the time, some were in shade a lot which means they could get quite cold I would imagine. Staff were excellent. Ate at the Forresters once, ok but so many other really good places just a small car ride away that unless you have to eat there I would recommend exploring the area. Reception staff gave us a list of very good places to eat off site, we tried two and weren't dissappointed. Will be going again, maybe to their other site. Lots of things in the area to visit.
