A nice hotel. Near the airport (shuttle provided though actually only about a 6 minute walk anyway), multilingual staff, a warm welcome.
The restaurant was actually closed the 1 (Sunday) night we were there. Not sure if that's a weekly thing or a one-off. No matter though; there are restaurants nearby, but actually the chap in the hotel's bar area (which was open) actually did me a lovely toastie anyway, so I was fine even without the restaurant.
My room was nice enough; certainly clean and new-looking. It was a little too warm for my liking, but it was quiet enough there for me to open the window all night to cool down and still sleep. Seems a terrible waste of energy though.
Breakfast was a continental buffet; fine if not outstanding.
All in all, if you need to be near the airport or Trade Center, and if you are not bothered by being in downtown Geneva (which I have frankly found to be rather "grubby", especially near where many of the hotels are), then I would certainly recommend this hotel. I'd definitely stay there again. Top tip: as it's near the airport, it's also near the airport train station, so this means it's pretty well connected. I walked to the airport, hopped onto an intercity, and was on my way to work in Lausanne quickly and relatively cheaply (for Switzerland!).

We have stayed in the hotel for a number of years - as an overnight between a skiing trip and flying home. The shuttle bus (every 20 minutes) to and from the airport is very convenient. The hotel restaurant was closed when we arrived at 2000 on Sunday evening, but there are a couple of Italian restaurants on the man road very close by. We had pre-booked and paid for bed and full breakfast, however when we sought breakfast shortly after 10 o'clock the following morning we were told that the full breakfast service closed at 10.. The waiter checked with management and wrongly informed us that our booking had only included the continental breakfast (coffee, croissant, juice, pain au chocolat), which was available. During that meal we recovered our booking details online, and showed the "full breakfast" confirmation to the manager, who apologised andaccepted the correction and offered us a cooked breakfast choice. I suggested that a prominent note in each bedroom stating the opening times of the food offers in the hotel would be a worthwhile improvement to customer experience.

Positive is there is free shuttle or on a nice day, an easy walk. Free wi-fi and breakfast is good quality and value. Staff are really friendly and very helpful. Rooms are clean and functional, bed is comfortable. Only negative is the room doors tend to make a noise when closed by heavy handed "oaf" type people. Would be nice to see the door equipped with slam proof feature. Also really good is you get a travel pass included so easy to go visit Geneva town (lots to see) and the pass works for all busses, trams and trains. Coming back just jump on a train to the airport and either hop a shuttle or walk. Good work Ibis, got it right with staff, quality and price😀 Good to see.
