Where should I start? The service is bad. The waiter made a lot of talking, advertising and making promises that they can not fulfill at all. First, the food was frozen, not fresh as they said.

Second, the price is horribly high for an average quality. I get used to the Swiss-price but compare to their quality it feels very cheated. The food was really not that good at all, just basically oily and salty- no taste.

And as we ordered, the waiter claimed that it take 40 minutes to cook but at the end we end up waiting for almost 2 hours!!! The kitchen was obviously NOT BUSY, as they were less than 5 table there (including our table). It seems like they didn't really start cooking right a way.

Bottom line : We'll never go there again and hope that the clueless tourist will not step into their trap in the future.

A Spanish food restaurant in the Swiss German area is like a warm sunny day. The staff is attentive and friendly and they remembered us on our second visit. The shrimp dishes are delicious and for the Swiss German area priced fairly. It is Switzerland. Enrique, the chef and owner focuses on his food which is excellent and presented artistically. He personally meets and greets the dinner guests which is rare but lovely. Any Swiss German who doesn't appreciate Enrique's Spanish restaurant and unique tapas can go back to their wienerschnitzel plate with french fries. When in this region, we will drive from Ticino any day to eat at this great restaurant. Mark and Monica Americans living in Switzerland.

We went for a small bite on a Sunday afternoon and ordered some tapas to share. The waiter (fluent in Spanish but in no other language) came back 3 times, each time to suggest a new assortment of tapas (instead of bringing the ordered ones). The selection was quite a disappointment - tomato and garlic bread, some cheese, champignons as the lowest possible level in tapas. We had to re-order pulpo, which was quite OK. He insisted twice in bringing some paella afterwards; our mistake not to refuse but to give in. The hefty bill came afterwards - CHF 46.50 per person for a small dish of meager and overcooked paella, in total well over CHF 85/USD 100 p.p. for a "small bite" is far too much.
It was just symptomatic that the credit card machine "wouldn't work", so we had to scrape the last coins out of our wallets...

Imagine, you go into a restaurant and on the menu it says something like: 'it could take some time before you have your food, be patient, it is made with love".

Well, that was true. I went here with 3 people and we took the unlimited tapas menu. We were there for 4.5 hours! At 1 time it took about 55 minutes before the next dish came. And that for about 60 chf per person. It really felt like the chef just made whatever he/she felt like and when. Multitasking is probably not present on his/her CV.

Quality: some of the dishes were great (lam-beef which was great; good squid), but some others just tasted like garlic + paprika powder. The dishes, which you share were nicely presented, but actually rather small. Over those 4.5 hours we could have eaten way more, but we just got tired, paid and left.

If you find a way to get your food quick and in the right portion (by being kind to the staff or something), this might be a good one. Please let me know when this happens, as I won't go back until that moment.

O yeah, I will tick the 'late night' box. As it WILL be late night before you leave the place.

agree with other Review below. We live in Zürich, and were visiting Rapperswil on Sunday 11.August during the day time. We were looking for somewhere to eat lunch and happened upon this place, where a few People were sat. We should have seen Alarm bells ringing when there was a waiter Standing on the street bothering passers by trying to entice them in. We ordered 3 small Tapas plates, and a house salad. We also asked for half a litre of White wine. Which took about 20 minutes to arrive. After asking 4 times for the wine!!!! The Food arrived, and we had ordered spanish cheese as one of the Tapas. 6 Wafer think slices of cheese. Which is fine, no cooking involved, simple sliced cheese. CHF15.50 for this small plate. A small plate of spanish meat balls. 4 to be exact, again small Portion just Tapas, but way way over priced at CHF18.50. The waiting staff could not speak German. When i asked for the bill in German and Swiss German i was still not understood!!!!????!!!! We went into the bar, and asked again for the bill, and the Long haired guy with a Pony tail brought us the bill. No eye contact, not interested, never asked us if we had enjoyed the meal. Lots of staff milling around, but the Service is terrible. And the Food is WAY OVER PRICED. A rip off. We will never return to this place. Any Spanish Person visiting this place would be disgusted, and would probably have walked out of the place without paying!
