About 25 min by the rural and quite unpredictable road and you are in heaven! The hotel / bull farm is located on the top of the hill with the absolutely gorgeous 360 views. As you are surrounded by the nature and mostly by bulls and cows - surprisingly there were no this specific smell of the farm. Very lovely, stylish and comfortable rooms. Great swimming pool with the views on the hills. Food is unforgettable. The farm is managed by one family for the several generations: they know everything about bulls and corrida - it's super interesting. We had an excursion around the property and the beautifully romantic, almost surreal, evening horse ride ;) We were very lucky to stay there for 3 night and being the only guests! It was just an amazing experience and the rest for the soul. Especially after the big crazy city.

El Anadio is a farm, breeding the famous fighting Spanish bulls. Since we didn't want to watch a bull fight, we decided to do the next best thing, that is to go the source of these bulls. And we were not disappointed. The farm stay was perfect, very nice and cool rooms, good food and excellent service. The language difference crated some problems (English vs. Spanish), but in the end everything was solved with a smile and helpful staff. The 4x4 trip was most exciting and a day never to forget.

A very rural but beautiful hotel where they raise bulls for local festivities and bullfights!
The hotel is rustic but elegant with a very nice pool, amid sweeping views of rolling hills dotted with olive groves. The meals are very nice, if just a bit pricey, but the service is great!
The "toros" are right outside your window but safely fenced.
A unique, but very enjoyable stay!

My husband and I needed a break. This place did it for us. We spent 4 nights there and left, relaxed, elated and with only one wish: to return.
We arrived at 5pm in the boiling andalucian heat. The owner, Maria, welcomed us, showed us around the canaderia and then told us that something special was happening there that day. Indeed, apart from raising bulls for the corrida, the 400 ha property is a reserve for wild iberian lynxes which are bred in semi-wild conditions in Portugal and then released into their natural habitat, i.e. Andalucia. A lynx arrived, escorted by 5 4 wheel drives, a german tv crew and various vets and people working on the project. I was given the honour of opening the cage to free the animal. Emerged a stunning, bewildered beast which simply ran off into the bushes: A real treat!
Our room was lovely and out of the windows, one could see the bulls. The bed was extremely comfortable with deliciously soft cotton sheets. There are loads of places to relax there both inside and outside: various living rooms, shaded corners with chairs and tables, a pagoda with stunning views and the fresh water swimming pool offers relief from the heat if you go there in summer.
Ramona is the housekeeper. She is like a mother to all the guests. There are a series of bells, scattered around the buidings and one press brings Ramona to you. She will look after your desires, find your lost sunglasses, towel, half-read novel and she cooks deliciously simple meals, served at whatever time takes your pleasure.
The dining room is in what was once a stable and is nothing short of charming with a fireplace, lit in the winter months and beautiful views of the surrounding property.
We went horse-riding with Rosa who helps with the equestrian side of bull-catching and saw a fox during our promenade.
We toured the property with the majorolo (the man who looks after the bulls) in his 4 wheel drive who explained all sorts of things about the place and how it functioned and were then given a refreshing glass of manzanilla with lemonade when back at the ranch.
Our stay there was unforgettable and I am a bit loathe to send off this review as I would have liked to keep this place a secret. On the other hand, my generous side would like to share this wonderful experience with you readers. Enjoy!

We stayed here for one night to break up a journey. It's completely off the beaten track, about 7km down a dirt track, but you can do this in a normal car and it's 100% worth the bumpy and dusty ride! The room was lovely and the food was good, although no choice of menu, so let them know if you have any requirements. Spectacular views, we wished we had longer but will hopefully return as it's a really special place run by lovely people. Overall a stunning place to visit, highly recommended.
