Ratwood has a lot to offer as there is a cafe , shops , bird of prey centre and walks to be had you could easily spend an afternoon here with the family and kids and if you want bring a picnic . Shops are overpriced as is all shops in Ireland compared to here in the UK . The food is generally very good and good portion sizes . I would happily recommend it to anyone .

Lovely area to spend an hour or two. The food is also quite nice. If you have small kids and have the chance, then go to meet Santa in December. Well worth it ! It seems to book out very quickly though, but it really is a must see.

I have been here on a number of occasions and it's shops are very nice. Good quality and unique products at a very reasonable price. However, the food was over priced for what it was. The dishes we ordered took a lot of time to come to us and they were very average. The food was a big disappointment. The centre is well advertised and built to a high standard, the plants are reasonably priced too.

Returned to Rathwood last week and again enjoyed the great choice in the menu . The food is fresh and homemade many items cooked on request Breakfast great value as it is 2-1 on a Saturday morning . The selection for afternoon tea was extensive . My grandchildren enjoyed the train which explored the grounds and the playground to follow There is something for all ages

A wonderful selection of garden and household goods, lovely eating hall and a selection of clothing shops. Take a train trip around the gardens for €3 and see the deer and feed the ducks. While a couple, we would recommend for families with young children also. A lovely way to spend an hour or two.
