The scenery and the sea provide the background for a place not to be missed. The round stones and crags are perfect for photos . We enjoyed walking the beach and watching the brave surfers on this winter day.

We loved this beach, there was so much to do. There are lots of rock pools to explore and rocks to climb. It was great for surfing with lifeguards on duty. As the tide goes out there is sand for building sand castles.there were pebbles to collect and waves to jump! The beach is owned by the National Trust so parking is free for members. Be warn, though it gets very busy! There is a cafe in the car park which we did not use.
There is quite a walk to the beach so not suitable for anyone with mobility problems

huge beautiful beach especially when the tide is out. National Trust land with a climb over rocks to get ot beach - not for the disabled and no facilities but worth the trip.

Sandymouth beach when the tide is going out is wonderful. There are always great waves for body boarding or wave jumping. There are lots of small pools left in the sand by the retreating sea, which are perfect for littler children or those who don't like the bigger waves. There are stones and pebbles to collect or make pictures with. There are large rocks to climb on at the back of the beach. There are lifeguards there keeping you safe. There are amazing views. There's a national trust car park. And there's a fantastic shop/cafe with clean toilets. Watch out for the incoming tide though!
