The beach is fantastic as the area is looked after by the National Trust. The car park is a reasonable £ 3.50 for the day. there is a nice cafe by the car park. However, access to the beach is via a very steep track and then a scramble over loose rocks. This beach is not suitable for disabled, or people who are infirm in any way. There is a risk of injury whilst clambering over the loose rocks. Having reached the Beach, it is fantastic. But beware the tide comes in really fast. There is a lifeguard, but I could not find a notice of Tide Times or any warnings. If your up for it though. It is worth the effort with waterfalls, rockpools and good clean sand and dog friendly.

Lovely beach and its not that busy. We were there for most of the day and my girls loved run in and out of the waves and look in the rock pools. Also parking cheap too.

Lovely beach, £3 to park all day which you'll need to do as it's not walkable unless you're staying at the holiday park :)

experienced surfers would love the waves. dogs welcome. unsuitable for disabilities/pushchairs. tide comes in very fast without warning, frightening for kids and parents!! it is watched by lifeguards between the flags.the views are stunning and there are waterfalls/cliffs for great photos.

The tide was in during our visit so we did not realise how big the beach actually was. We set up our chairs early one morning, and then we still had to move nearer to the rocks to move out of reach. It is a relatively peaceful place and the sound of the waves crashing in was awesome with the high cliffs all around. NT car park was a bonus as no fee, and with a small cafe on site and toilets there was everything you need. Shame the sun decided to disappear early on or we would have stayed to see the tide go out.
