We did arrive a little earlier than scheduled, however we were checked in and asked if we would like to have a cool drink in the bar, whilst we waited; no problem as it gave us an opportunity to look around this charming restaurant with rooms/hotel. Our ground floor room was large as was the bathroom, which has a walk in wet room area. Bed was a tad firm, but extra pillows were in place as requested. A busy road, so a room at the rear of the hotel is a good idea, they do provide ear plugs! Great position near Faversham and Whitstable. We also visited Ramsgate, with history and connections with the Dunkirk evacuation, the town is quite run down. Food at the hotel was from an excellent menu, cooked and served with skill. The young antipodean owners are on top of their game, as are most of the staff. Try to get room Number One, and for more than one night. Enjoy.More
