We came here on recommendation from a local and were not disappointed. The food was excellent. We arrived around 2pm for a late lunch and shared the Thai soup (best I have ever had, very flavoursome and just right in terms of spicyness), bread with olive and herb butter and dukha, mussels in red curry, asparagus salad (with rucola and parmesan) and a crostini with goats cheese and pesto with a salad. Wine (Krone Chardonnay) was delicious too and at R110 one of the more expensive on the menu, however the total bill (before tip) came to R424. Staff was very friendly and service efficient. Note the restaurant is open 7 days for for breakfast and lunch, but only on Fridays do they serve dinner too. When we were there, there was a couple with a small child and a family with two elderly ladies - the atmosphere will have suited all of us equally well.
