The Lima Sector Operations Room played a vital role in the defence of the Midlands. A short stroll through the station past the SHQ takes you to the museum. The excellent guide gave a well informed briefing and visual display of how this was achieved. Following the briefing we were at liberty to wander and view the extensive exhibits located in the rooms adjacent to the main plotting room.
The visit lasts about 1.5 hours and is a very good way to spend a slow wet Sunday morning.
