“Excellent for visits to Peppa Pig World”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2013

This was our 2nd stay at this particular hotel for the purpose of a short break at Peppa Pig World, and we wouldn't hesitate to use it again. The family room was decently sized with proper beds for both children, very clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and took time to engage with the children, providing colouring pages and crayons for them. We chose this hotel over the one nearer to Peppa Pig World largely based on the reviews for both on this site, and also because of the attached Beefeater restaurant (compared to Fayre & Square at Southampton West - have eaten at one of those with the children previously and was less than impressed!)

The two nights stay over a weekend were very pleasant, staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good, the pre-booked evening meals were more limited than the menu in the bedroom appeared to suggest, but were still very good. Unfortunately the phone signal within the hotel was very intermittent.

Loved this hotel the minute I stepped into it. We were all warmly greeted...we were travelling with 4 toddlers so expect to see some shocked faces! The rooms were spacious and airy, immaculately clean, well stocked tea/coffee making facilities and the most comfortable beds. The reception staff..Sylvia, Jacquie were fabulous and were brilliant with our grumpy travel weary kids. Asia was also great as was our lovely cleaner whose name I didn't get. Would definitely stay here again if I get the chance. It was such a relief to find such a clean, well kept and friendly hotel for our 2 night last minute stay.

We arrived here quite late at night to a friendly receptionist we directed us to a warm inviting room with everything we needed. very clean too!. No noise from anywhere so we all slept well! The breakfast was great and quickly served once we ordered! Always liked premier inn but this was one of the best! Would stay again if in that area.

we found the hotel very easily with sent directions, the staff were amazing and really couldn't do enough for us. the room was small but adequate and spotlessly clean. book your eating time in the beefeater as it gets busy, but again the staff were excellent, friendly and very well trained in the hospitality industry. I would stay here instead of the southampton west, if i was going to peppa pig/paultons, because the food is better and the restaurant staff were better, and it's only another 4 miles away. nice little co-op round the corner too.

Stayed here for a couple of nights on business.
I usually avoid any Premier Inn with a Beefeater Restaurant but this one wasn't too bad plus this was the nearest Purple Palace to where I needed to be.
Business account holder. No issues with the service.
Bathroom ok but the shower head was fitted so low that It hit my head (I'm 5' 10") & rubbish water pressure (room 39).
Other than that it's an ok stopover.
Not great value at nearly £200 for 2 nights.
Even though I'm not paying the bill, this is no longer a 'budget' hotel price in my opinion.
Breakfast was good but again pricey for what it was.

Clean, well presented hotel next to local pub where great food served. Ideal stay before cruise. Room spotless. Great location just outside the city limits. quiet. 10 minute taxi ride to the port. Staff friendly and efficient.
