Stunned by the place and the view as we arrived, then just as impressed by Amaury and Audrey, our hosts. Our first trip abroad with our new baby and it couldn't have gone better.
Amaury is rightly proud of his new venture, he has put his heart and soul into creating a fantastic ambiance, stunning decoration and welcoming atmosphere. I have always intended to write reviews from the many places we have been after checking tripadvisor, and this place and gentleman have finally inclined me to do so. If you wish to visit the area, stay here!

This gorgeous place has got to be one of the best places (& by that I include hotels, villas, gites & b&b's) I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. It is located in a lovely little village in Normandy, close to major road links & a station taking you to Paris, yet in the middle of beautiful countryside about 20 minutes from Giverny, Claude Monet's wonderful garden.
The young owner/host Amaury and his wife Audrey have undertaken the conversion of an old house and have done so with great care and exquisite taste. Our room was large & very stylishly & comfortably furnished, with a separate bathroom with shower, bath & basins. A balcony overlooked the garden and woodland beyond. Unusually (I believe) for a. French B&B, there were tea & coffee making facilities in the room.
Aside from the wonderful building, room & furnishings, the welcome we received from Amaury was outstanding. He was so friendly and helpful, and his enthusiasm for his new venture and pride in his achievement (as well as for Normandy where his family came from) was evident. He treated us as friends rather than just another couple of guests and took time & trouble to chat to us at length when we arrived and also during breakfast.
We only stayed for one night, en-route from Southern France, so that we could visit Giverny, however we quickly decided that Les Hautes Sources warrants a longer stay, to enjoy the beautiful building and surroundings, as well as the wider area which has plenty of interesting places to visit. We will definately return to stay here again. Keep up the good work, Amaury & Audrey!

Room Tip: All the rooms look lovely. The treehouse looks fun!

This guesthouse is second to none, absolutely faultless. We booked the superior double room which has a fantastic bathroom and a lovely big comfy bed. Our host could not do enough for us, all the little touches which add up to a memorable experience. An easy 20 minutes drive from Monet's garden. This is one place we would have no hesitation in coming back to.

I looked for a place to stay which I could reach within 2 hours or so from Calais. I was on my way to Provence and the comments on Trip adviser looked good. I booked for one night and wish I had stayed longer. Was made really welcome, loved the decor, comfort of my room and the views are spectacular. Gorgeous breakfast with many personal touches convinced me that Les Hautes Sources will be a must for my annual France trip. The charming owners make one feel incredibly welcome. Cannot recommend it enough.

Room Tip: My room was off the courtyard, incredibly quiet and stylish decor. Terrific bathroom. Great views.

We were lucky to choose to stay in this beautiful and elegant chambres d'hotes with the perfect host Amaury de Tilly and his charming wife Audrey. It felt like home from home. Our spacious and well appointed bedroom and bathroom had a wonderful view of the countryside. The old farm buildings have been renovated with all mod cons and make a lovely picture.

What is unusual is the relaxed informality provided by Amaury. Seldom does one encounter a host who goes out of his way to help in every way from from giving directions and booking restaurants to finding medical assistance. It all done with great élan and overall one feels so welcome as if with friends.

Les Hautes Sources is an excellent base for visiting Monet's Garden and home which we did jostling with vast crowds ( it's one of the most popular places for overseas tourists )intent on getting their piece of Monet. It was well worth the visit and the bliss of escaping to Les Hautes Sources was immense. There we enjoyed a picnic al fresco while Amaury chatted to us and we spent a blissful afternoon in the sun.

Our breakfasts were excellent with Amaury always in attendance in the main dining room. Fresh baguettes, croissants, lovely coffee and jam. For the energetic tennis and swimming are possible.

Les Hautes Sources is most definitely worth a visit and we hope to return soon.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the forest

I found les hautes sources by luck and had a first approach on their web site , all the pictures looked fantastic and we decided to boom for our trip to Normandy , it was my first trip to the area and I have absolutely no regret what so ever , the property is over 2 centuries and very well renovated with this je ne sais quoi country style on the top of the hill so the view from the property is amazing. We had booked the little house as we were with friend , a nice living room dinning area and a fire place , one large en suite bedroom with the most comfortable bed linen I was feeling like on a cloud , on the first floor 2 bedrooms and a large tv room . Breakfast was served in the main building , very nicely decorated dining room with a stunning fireplace , the. Best croissant ever and amazing fresh baguette served with home made fruit preserved.all this won't be possible without the talented owner , a young entrepreneur and his lovely wife ,s work and constant attention all guests received. A five stars service in a great house , there is also a swimming pool , deers in the garden at sunrise and a very nice little wooden house .. We will be back for sure as this place has left an excellent memory to all of us .

Very nice and quiet place with an excellent breakfast (homemade jam, very good pastry). The owner is very friendly and will give you good advise for restaurants and other activities in the surroundings. Our room had a very relaxing view over the green hill. Worth the visit.
