We loved this beautiful old city, it's extremely charming. There was a midevil festival throughout the city that added more charm. It's very clean, friendly and exactly as we had hoped. Our daughter has decided that when she is an adult, she's moving there!

This church along with many other churches and buildings in the old walled city are wonderful. The city has narrow cobble stone streets and beautiful old buildings.

You can easily spend an entire day here just looking at the old buildings and going in the various shops. There is also a botanical garden that is wonderful.

This city and island is worth the trip.

Visby was our last stop on our cruise of the Baltics, and out of all of the places we visited, it was my favorite. The walled city is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the cobblestone streets are charming and filled with shops and cafes, and St. Nicholai looks like something out of Lord of the Rings. Would love to go back to Visby and spend a week there.

This extraordinary structure has been preserved by modern methods, allowing it to be used as an outdoor concert hall. Although it is only accessible in the summer months to visitors, you can look in on it. It has an architecturally-designed roof structure, protecting it from the elements, although it has not been renovated in any meaningful sense of the word.

It´s so romantic place, enough small to walk around and all over beautiful houses, gardens and of coure roses. St. Nicolai Ruin is very powerfull place. Old Gothtic cathedral has concerts sometimes, excellent place for thet too. Must to see is Visby´s botanical garden. It has touch from Carl von Linné himself. Best fishsoup of this town yo9u find from Munkkällaren, must taste!:D Lovely, lovely place...
