Situated in the old town, next to a 1100 church you can really feel wings of history. Cosy with several old buildings. Our room was rather small but comfortable. V nice and helpful staff. Recommend parking at common parking ground (hotel v v tight and expensive). Great breakfast included!

Room Tip: Get a room overlooking the botanic garden or the ruins of St Clemens church. Rooms at the streetside can be a bit noisy esp. During summer.

We visited Visby in November and stayed over for two nights at this incredible hotel. It is extremely cosy and friendly - it even has it's own church ruins in the backyard. The rooms were neat, the breakfast excellent, and the personnel was extremely helpful be friendly. Why amazed me most was the attention they give to details, and their effort to make the guests feel welcome. Five out of five. Will definitely return here.

A wonderful choice in the heart of this world heritage site. Staff are welcoming and professional; rooms are clean and comfortable; and the breakfast is vast. A definite go-to hotel when visiting Gotland. Go here.

Cosy is the foreword. Nice, charming, comfortable, personal touch, kind service ... you name it. Here is the place to stay in Visby! The small scale feeling overwhelms you. And you will miss nothing in amenities and service. Except AC in the summer...
Excellent little breakfast with many choices.
Central location (whith a private garden in the back yard), but off the main square area, so it's quiet.
Highly recommended!

This lovely small hotel exemplifies life in Visby, and not to stay here would be to miss the essence of the town. Abutting church ruins, the hotel has five totally "green" buildings with beautiful rooms, excellent service, and a healthy breakfast.
