We adore this place and have been coming for years with our family .
The chicken, roasted on an open fire , is delicious and the rosti is about the best you can eat anywhere in Switzerland . It keeps on being served to you piping hot from the kitchen .
Lovely salad to start with , with a great dressing, and their tarte à la crème is a must - paper thin pastry and straight out of the oven - absolutely gorgeous .
Local wines are great - we usually have the Gamaret " Clair Obscur " or "Cuvée Nicolas " named after the owner of the restaurant who always gives us a warm and friendly welcome .
Lovely atmosphere - reminds me of an English country inn . Also a great meeting place for friends from Geneva and Lausanne - meeting each other "halfway " so to speak .
