We went to Casa Mane at Sunday lunch time and it was very busy - luckily we had reserved in advance and I can only imagine how packed out it must get during the summer months.
The fish and seafood could not have been fresher and was on display in a refrigerated cabinet which was shaped like a boat.
We had raciones of clams, grilled prawns, salmonetes and boquerones to start with and then my husband had the lubina and I had gallo - all nicely presented and very well cooked.
My husband finished off with a very rich chocolate tart and we had some nice coffee to end with.
The restaurant does not look particularly inspiring from outside and is tucked away almost at the end of a lane so it is quite difficult to find - however it is right on the beach and we were there on a lovely day with plenty of sunshine, so it was worth the trip.
The food at Casa Mane is quite expensive but at the same time the quality of the food served showed through - at the end of the day you get what you pay for.
