We decided to stay here on our way to Port Macquarie, as it was 14 Feb so a bit of a treat... we had booked Bridge Cottage which was wonderful. Excellent facilities, with all mod cons you would need......There were screens and roller blinds through out, with ets on to keep the bugs out......Good aircon and the television was at least a 50inch.....set high on a unit ....There was a good seating area, with sette's and coffee table...The bed was huge and so soft and comfortable, you could get lost in it......Clean crisp linen, and towels...The bathroom was huge and plenty of hot water with all toileteries supplied....We had a fully functioning kitchen, and if we had wanted we could have had evening dinner and breakfast made for us.. We decided to cater for ourselves so we culd eat when we chose....The gardens are beautifully kept and there was a swimming pool in the grounds...But we didnt use it....Ron was an excellent source of information and a genial host....
Security is something taken seriously, and the gates at the end of the drive are locked for the night......overall an excellent accommodtion and I would highly recommend it.....

Room Tip: Book Bridge cottage if possible, if staying longer then overnight...Bit expensive but worth the cost....

After 14 hours on the road with a car, dog and a motorbike, we chose Bonville Lodge as an overnighter on the way to the Gold Coast. Nothing was too much trouble for Ron and Cathy - I rang earlier in the day to confirm our late arrival time and they offered us a home cooked meal on our arrival. Ron was in the driveway to guide us to the car park and he opened the secure garage for the motorbike overnight. Our room was right next door to the driveway so it wasn't long before we were relaxing with a home cooked meal, complete with port and chocolate for afters. Chilled beer and wine in the fridge for us, doggy treats for the pooch, breakfast, juice and snacks as well as a huge comfy bed which was very much appreciated. We couldn't ask for more. The room was a very large and well appointed studio flat with kitchen, massive bathroom, sleeping area and lounge - plenty of space. Having pooch in the room with us overnight was the main feature on which we selected this B&B.

This is such a nice part of Australia - given the time again, we would stay two nights and explore the local area.

My husband and I and Zac our Chihuahua first stayed at Bonville overnight passing thru to Gold Coast Christmas 2011. We loved the accommodation, cleanliness, service and friendly owners so much so, we decided to re book for a week Christmas 2012 and bring the family. We were all extremely happy with everything especially Ron & Cath's hospitality. The weather was fantastic, the Golf Course just down the road entertained the men as well as a soothing spa afterwards and the ladies enjoyed either a peaceful day among the beautiful gardens and the pool. Shopping and beach not too far away, what more could you ask for. Sharon, Emmaunuel, Michelle and Eddie would just like to thank Ron & Cath for a wonderful holiday and wish them well.

I first came to stay en route to Byron Bay in February and am now back to stay for 5 days... Ron and Cathy look after me AND my 2 dachshunds beautifully. I've only been out to dinner once as Ron cooks up the most amazing fish - after being on the road or at the beach all day it's great to relax with a beer and a home cooked meal. It's very relaxing knowing the dogs are free to run about the huge manicured garden. The rooms are immaculate and the bed soooo comfy. I'm glad I'm back to stay for longer :)

Room Tip: Bridge Cottage is the business!
