We (2 adults, 2 small children) stayed here 1 night on our way to south Devon. We slept in the small family room which wasn't at all small! You had bunk beds and a double bed and a basin and use of a shared bathroom opposite the room. The best things for us was the lovely cooked breakfast and the very cosy guest lounge with large roaring fire. There was even a cute toy room in the lounge which my children loved. It worked well for us because we could use the shared lounge in the evening while the children were in bed and in the morning when one awoke early we played with the toys in the lounge before breakfast so not disturbing the other child who was still asleep. We'd definitely return if we were in that part of Devon again. Thanks Kate!

Stayed here for one night as part of our River Cottage Dining experience. Host is very welcoming and we were very happy with our room, which was the large family room. We found the bed really comfortable and was glad we'd booked breakfast for ten so didn't need to rush. Breakfast was lovely, with a large selection of items.
If we were wanting to stay in the area again we would go back.

Warm personal service from Kate. Charming cottage with nooks an crannies and a lovely garden. Magnificent breakfast which would rank up there with a top hotel. Perfect location for walkies. Comfy basic room......but so many extras like luxury bathrobes. Kate actually looked after our dogs whilst we attended a wedding for a pre arranged fee. Worth every penny. Thanks Kate, Fern, Maisie and of course Mr Bob.

Room Tip: Garden room ideal for dogs

Best B&B on the Jurassic Coast! Charming farm, charming host (Kate), not only a B&B, but a familiar and peaceful home to stay....and come back:-)...excellent service and great breakfast cooked to order. Ideal location for families exploring the coast and searching for fossiles around Lyme Regis...and if you need a hammer for those....Kate is there! Thank you for this memorable stay.

We were welcomed with coffee tea and biscuits which was lovely. Our room was the large family room which was spacious and clean with a nice en suite. There was no tv in the room which surprised us as we have never come across this before. Breakfast was lovely with a good choice. However we did feel that we couldn't relax properly during our stay. We love dogs but didn't like them being where we eat and we felt that we had no privacy and had to make conversation. I am sure this is a lovely place but I wouldn't recommend for families.

Kate was a very welcoming host and after our stressful journey from London she arranged a welcome pot of tea in the garden overlooking beautiful views. We were going to a wedding at River Cottage and the location was perfect. Kate arranged the taxi there and back and we were very grateful. The breakfasts and hospitality were marvellous. Our family room was very comfortable and spacious. It should be noted that this is a dog friendly B&B. A very enjoyable stay, many thanks Kate!

We arrived quite late and Kate was very welcoming to us and the dogs. Once we unpacked Kate quite happily took us around some of the farms fields so the dogs could stretch their legs and ours too. What a welcome. The area is stunning and Kate gave us lots of local information.
We had the large family room which was very cosy and lovely comfy bed. After a fab nights sleep Kate explained its the amethyst that helps. The bed helped though.
Up for a very tasty cooked breakfast and a another walk up the lane before heading off on our day. We must say that Kate is a wonderful host and her farmhouse is absolutely full of charm.
Next time we shall be taking the Garden room. The view is priceless and the room is beautiful and playful. Thanks also to Mr Bob, Fern and the lovely Masie. See you soon. Marie Kevin
