Just arrived home after a wonderful weekend stay at Spillers. We stayed there during the River Cottage Food Fair, Bridget and Keith are outstanding hosts, you could not ask for more or expect better. A real home from home. Make sure you take a glass of something and go and sit by the lake, visit the animals and explore the local pubs. What a find, so pleased we did. Can't wait to go back!

Just returned from a truelly wonderful week-end at Spillers Farm. What can you say that hasn't been said already,,,,,,, Bridget and Keith are the best hosts... nothing too much trouble , eager to make your stay the best possible. 9 of us stayed - 4 in the cottage and 5 in the house, then more relations joined us for a family evening on Saturday.Weather was fab, evenings a little on the chilly side but logs were available to have the log burner going - but we all sat out on Sunday enjoying the late afternoon sun after a lunch out. Thank you to the old rooster and his young chick for making a memorable week-end special x

Room Tip: Superior room the best but all accomodation good. a little noisy with road traffic if you are not us...

Stayed for just one night Bridget and Keith were so welcoming, friendly and had good sense of humour. Very helpful on which restaurants and places of interest to visit. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was very tasty. Lovely to enjoy food that was produced on their land and freshly cooked. We will be returning and recommending Spillers Farm to our family and friends.

Room Tip: Don't leave your booking to the last minute because you may have to share a bathroom .

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here last Saturday night for our trip to River Cottage HQ. We were greeted by Bridget and Keith who had just been feeding their lambs, and they were more than happy to alter their lambs feeding times in the evening so that we could join in. Bridget and Keith let us get in the pen with the lambs, they are adorable. The room was lovely and had all the things you needed. They were flexible with breakfast time knowing that we would be back late. Keith was very helpful giving us advice on the nearby area and places to go. The bed was extremely comfortable and was like sleeping on a cloud. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices and homemade jams, the bacon, sausages and eggs are all from their farm which tasted delicious and we bought some to take home.
I really like this B&B, it's got a lovely homely and friendly atmosphere and Bridget and Keith are great and will do anything for you and very friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer.
I would definitely recommend this place.

Room Tip: We had the room with en-suite.

We stayed at Spillers Farm B&B for one night when we visited River Cottage HQ for their Saturday Night dinner.
We received a very warm welcome from our hosts Bridget & Keith & were delighted with our kingsize room. The bed was unbelievably comfortable!
There was a good selection of teas/coffees & a fridge in the room containing complimentary bottled water. The en-suite was spacious and equipped with some nice toiletries.
A highlight of the stay was feeding the lambs and both Bridget & Keith were happy to talk about their self-sufficient lifestyle.
We both slept well and breakfast was another highlight! The sausages & bacon are made on the farm and the eggs are also laid on site! A special mention for Keith's delicious homemade rhubarb & ginger jam!
Our hosts couldn't have been better. They helpfully answered queries I had before our stay & were chatty and welcoming without being intrusive. We hope to return to Spillers Farm in the future.
