Jo made us so welcome and really took good care of us. She has a beautiful house in and very peaceful location with plenty of breath-taking walks and drives just outside the front door.

Breakfast cooked to perfection using good quality, fresh ingredients.

Bedrooms bright, pretty, lovely views, comfy, spotless.

My partner and I only stayed one night but we were delighted to stay at Jo's farmhouse. It is located in the gorgeous Newlands Valley with some stunning walks, and alongside the Swinside Inn which offers great food. Jo's breakfast was fabulous, and huge! The room was exceptionally clean with an amazing views across the valley, really peaceful setting - the sunset was to die for! We will definitely come back and for longer next time, so we can explore more!

The accommodation was very clean, Jo was very accommodating and informative.Breakfast was superb. It was an ideal location for a walking break as once you arrive you do not need to then drive out to access a walk. There is an Inn directly opposite that serves lovely food when we returned from our walking day

Stayed 1 night on a touring holiday. Jo our host was very helpful. The room lovely. Breakfast excellent. She offered to book the Swinside Inn opposite for a meal. The food there was also very good. Jo also emailed the directions as it is a little remote. But the fact you can walk a few yards to the Swinside Inn for a meal was excellent.
