We had a lovely meal at the Tavern at Strathkinness. The food was hot and very big portions. I like the that the food is cooked to order. It has a nice view on a clear night. We will be back.

Very good food in a nice environment and gentle owners. We had to make a reservation, but it is worth the effort

We visited the Tavern in Strathkiness on our very last night in Scotland. This was a superb restaurant!! We would highly recommend it to anyone. It was our favorite on the whole trip.

After reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, we decided to eat here on our first night in Strathkiness. We weren’t disappointed! Everything was delicious! Upon arrival, we were treated to complementary cheese scones with real butter. The peppercorn sauce is worth travelling back to Scotland for! The steaks were cooked to perfection and the salmon was great. Next time, I would order the steak with peppercorn sauce or the veggie haggis. The menu has a great vegan selection, too. I would recommend the aubergine rolls stuffed with vegetarian haggis. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any room for dessert! A true gem in Sthrathkiness!

we were staying at the Nydie campsite on the edge of the village. We had a few lovely evenings in the Tavern with Gin and Whisky of the week on offer. Amazing food - but DO book as very popular. The Owner and staff very friendly and welcoming.
