We had a wonderful stay at La Licorne. We were on a self-guided bike trip through Dordogne, and this was a quiet, lovely reprieve after long days of biking. The rooms are simple but nicely-appointed, and the pool, ping pong, and soccer-playing dog made our kids (13 and 16) very happy. The food was excellent and very, very plentiful. The best part though was that our kind hostess beautifully accommodated the three of us who are vegetarian, making a real effort to create a delicious dinner (with things like a chilled avocado/coconut milk soup) -- not an easy thing to find in the area.
