Fantastic visit. Beautiful spot. Shepherd’s huts are really special. And fishing was super. Help on site could not have been better....but person I spoke to on phone (in advance) wasn’t great and did not do justice to the friendly and flexible service on site.

We stayed 3 nights here in a shepherd's but. Everyone so welcoming and helpful.the hut had everything we needed. There is some great information on walks available in the welcome pack. We even had a taster of fly fishing so thanks Tim, Jim and Greg.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in a shepherd's hut. Everything you could need was covered. There were great walks around this beautiful area. The staff were very helpful. We even got interested in fly fishing due to the passion of Greg, Tim and Jim who were keen to encourage absolute beginners into the sport. Would definitely return and we are keen to encourage a bigger family group to come with us. Thanks again.

I have been visiting Meon springs for about 10 years. Friday fishing was hard but I got my 4 fish. Reasonably priced and very friendly folk who manage the fishery. On arrival the smell of cooking bacon was so seductive I gave in and we bought some bacon butty's.Very hot and humid but we took our time and met our targets. I recommend Meon Springs and have already scheduled another visit - big thanks to the fishery folk.

Room tip: Fantastic bacon butty's.

We had a fantastic 4 nights in one of the shepherds just. Everything you need for a complete rest. The views were amazing and not a sound of traffic could be heard. My husband was very happy to fish before breakfast and in the evening. We visited lots of different gardens in the area also national trust properties that were nearby. We will definitely be going back.

Being able to fish the early rise and the evening hatch is one of the advantages of staying with us. Look forward to seeing you next time.
