A first class b&b, the place is spotlessly clean, I have not slept so well for ages the bed was so comfortable.
The owners, Richard and Celia are terrific, they really are nice people, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was even better than excellent. I would definitely recommend Bassets to anyone thinking of visiting Dorset the location is lovely, quiet and serene.

Having stayed there on several occasions over several months while working in the area, I could always rely on a comfortable and pleasant stay. Thank you Celia and Richard, I hope to get the opportunity to visit again.

Can we just thank Richard and Celia for an outstanding weekend in a beautiful home with beautiful surroundings. They made us feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble for them. The bedrooms were spotless and the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was out of this world and Celia makes wonderful home made breads, jams, marmalade's and you must try one of her homemade muffins. We can not fault anything about this bed and breakfast and will be coming back. Your only 20 mins away from Swanage and Poole. Lull worth Cove is 20 minutes away and well worth a visit. There is a delightful pub 5 minutes walk from the bed and breakfast that does locally home made foods. A torch is provided for the walk back. This is how Bed and Breakfasts should be and it was lovely not to have white thin towels to shower with, the towels were thick and lots of nice little touches in the bedrooms with ample drinking facilities and cookies. I would also highly recommend this for walkers, a truly amazing place. Thank you for making my 50th very special. See you both next year :) x

Room Tip: Any room in this wonderful home is just perfect.

We were impressed even before arrival - Celia had emailed detailed driving instructions on finding her B&B!
Winterborne Zelston is a particularly attractive village and Bassets ticks all the right boxes - an enthusiastic arrival, spacious, airy guest room with excellent facilities and great choices at breakfast. This is an excellent spot for a week or an overnight.
Perhaps the most distinctive feature, however, are the hosts. Richard and Celia make a very good B&B outstanding.
