We stayed one night here and for what we we were charged found it very disappointing. Cobwebs in the bathroom and the shelf in the wardrobe was so dust I wrote in it. None of that is Sally important but the beds oh dear. So so so uncomfortable I put a doubled up towel to make it more comfy and the noise when we turned over. I think these must have come from a second hand shop. The kettle was left half full and the mugs did not nene match,
Breakfast was very nice and so was the land lady but that's all I would recommend here. Sorry

We stayed at The Six Bells at very short notice after we left a Bristol hotel early because it was pretty grim.
It may be off the beaten track but it is worth the effort. We had a lovely double room with a great view. The bed was comfortable and the shower fantastic.
The service was wonderful and cosy and we felt like honoured guests.
In the evening we sat in front of the fire on a sofa sipping Champagne with olives and warm bread. We then sat in the conservatory to eat a splendid main course and then returned to the sofa for cheese and port followed by coffee and brandy. It was a lovely night and after a disastrous start to our weekend was the best way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.
Our thanks go to our hosts for giving us such a lovely experience.

This was our first visit to The Six Bells but certainly won't be our last! The food is amazing, beautifully presented, ample portions and fairly priced. The pub/restaurant is welcoming. The bar area where we sat is cosy with an open fire but there is a conservatory as well. The staff were friendly and professional. There was a sensible waiting time between courses so we didnt feel rushed.

We turned up almost too late for food, well 10 minutes too late on a Sunday. We were going to have crisps and a drink instead and they still had some pork roast left and offered to give us some. How tasty and perfect, fresh, wholesome and so welcome. Friendly staff, so engaging and helpful. Mum and I went away happy, replete and wanting to go back. Thank you

When making our reservation,Chris and Glynis were very helpful. On arrival we were made most welcome and there was a verymuch relaxed atmosphere.
The 6 Bells Hotel building has alot of character and is very homely in the layout. Lots of very unusual and fasinating ornaments/collectables,a great talking point.
Our room was very comfortable, with a lovely outlook of the beautiful contryside. Deco was tastefully done in keeping with the buildings character and the shower had great water pressure.
The menu had a impressive selection of food, doing breakfast, lunch and evening meals. All meals were beautifully presented and good sized portions.
Good size car park
Beautiful countryside,with some lovely walks
Enjoyed our stay very much and most deffinately would like to visit again.
