We loved this villa and its private, secluded location. The villa itself is lovely - perfect for a couple on honeymoon or vacation getaway. We loved laying on the chaise lounges at night under the night sky. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean is heavenly. This place is extremely private. The driveway is easy (something to beware of STJ villas!), and the location near Coral Bay is ideal and far from the more busy Cruz Bay side of the island. This place is truly oceanfront - most villas are up in the hills. The trade winds were lovely - keeping away any worries of bugs and negating any need for a/c. The owner, Chris Boyd, was extremely attentive through our reservation process and the couple that is currently taking care of the place, Olivier and Terry, were wonderful - very helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay with advice & tips. I would return in a heartbeat.

Loved the house and the location. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Loved the nearby restaurants. Didn't need the air conditioning at all since there was a breeze all the time. Living in AZ, we don't vacation without a/c. Would stay again in a minute!

We absolutely LOVED staying in Siempre Azul. Coffee on the balconey in rocking chairs watching the sunrise, hot tub under the stars after a day of hiking/snorkeling, BBQ and eating outside, lounging on the chairs on the cliff having a drink in the evenings are just a few of the things we enjoyed while staying at this villa. Chris has everything there you may need...Beach chairs, ice chest, etc. to enjoy your days at the beaches around the island. The nearby Salt Pond Bay and the short trail to Drunk Bay, and the longer trail to Rams Head was WELL worth the hike! Chris met us at the ferry to pick us up the night we arrived and brought us back to the Jeep rental the next morning! The info about the island was a big help!

I am not one to jump online and provide a review, but in this case I think Chris Boyd and Siempre Azul deserve the kudos. Chris built Siempre Azul and the detail, workmanship and pride are evident at every turn. That coupled with the stunning location and secluded privacy make this a perfect location for any couple looking for special time together.The property is located between Coral Bay and Salt Pond. They call Coral Bay the "laid back" side of the island. Put that in 'island time' perspective and you are sure to get your zen on here. There is no downtown buzz, but just enough restaurants, bars and characters to keep the nightlife interesting. You will need a car to get to those amazing St. John beaches.
