“A gorgeous house for a family stay”
Reviewed 30 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

We were two families, and the house fitted our needs perfectly. A lovely lawn area sits outside the kitchen - perfect for aperitifs, looking out on the countryside. There was plenty of room for the children to run around in complete safety, and they adored the playground area beyond the drive.

The kitchen is spacious, with lots of room to prepare meals while others can sit at the table. The main reception room is equally generous and very comfortable, with lots of DVDs to choose from.

The accomodation was split over two floors, each with more than adequate bath or shower rooms. Very comfortable beds. And the general sense is of staying in someone's house rather than an anti-septic guest-house environment.

It was quick and easy to get to Rouen, Dieppe and Amiens.

But above all, what a lovely property!

“A stunning house in a beautiful area.. we were overwhelmed!”
Reviewed 27 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

A pretty and very characterful maison in a little village close to many interesting tourist attractions, well equipt and very much a home. We felt priviledged that Meryl & Tim allowed us to share their home with us & feel that Les Hortensias is a real gem..the photos really don't do it justice. Madam & Monsiour at the cafe were a delight (fab cocktails at only 3 euros each!) and the cycle track was terrific. The Beltrans & Hansens had a wonderful holiday..thank you all!
