A lovely traditional Derbyshire village pub with a good selection of beer and ales, some not for the faint hearted! Friendly landlord and staff. We called in for a midweek lunchtime meal on a very cold and snowy day. The wood burning stoves and central heating were very welcome and made the bar and dining room cosy and warm. The meals were excellent, large portions, beautifully cooked and well presented. Would not hesistate to go again and will definitely recommend the Jug & Glass to relatives and friends.
