Firstly we went on a public holiday so the cost was $61.50 ea. Unfortunately we will never return to this restaurant. We found that the range of food was not good and further the food quality was terrible. Prawn skewers were dry and rubbery, the fish was dry and over cooked, the fresh prawns were NOT fresh and we believe had been frozen. The roast beef was gristly but the ham was very nice. We found a lot of the other dishes to be flavourless and most of the food was difficult to serve. They had these tiny, very impractical tongs for most dishes (even the saucy pasta dish), salads were out of reach, ice cream scoop was hidden in a drop container in the bench behind two containers on the bench and I waited for a chef to cut some beef and ham for me behind the counter for about two minutes but nobody came. I attempted to get some beef for myself using their woeful tongs and I burnt my hand on them as they had been left under a heating lamp. There was this overall general feeling that the restaurant was trying to make it difficult to get food. We thought that the dessert may have been their saving grace, however the crepes were like chewing on drink coasters and were quite flavourless, the ice cream had that horrible plastic taste that comes from buying cheap no-name ice cream from the supermarket. To add to this pitiful experience, we came back from the buffet the first time to find that the waitress had topped up our table water and spilled water all over the table and my partner's chair and she never returned to dry the water, just left it that way. To the restaurant's credit, they happily charged for only one meal after we expressed our disappointment. It's such a shame because the decor and atmosphere is very nice but the food lets the whole place down.
