Looked at Trip Advisor before coming to this Premier Inn and was a little concerned. I have to agree with some of the other comments. The rooms and bathrooms are tired and could do with an upgrade. Staff were not unfriendly but could have seemed a little more interested at times! That said, the Premier Inn standard of cleanliness shone through and the room was more than adequate for our 3 night stay. Late night revellers returning late on the Saturday night disturbed our sleep, would have been nice if the night porter had pointed out that they needed to be quieter but I have encountered a similar problem at other Premier Inns so just accept it.
Have to say the Cat & Lion was very gloomy and in the mornings, had a rather stale odour to accompany breakfast! My husband said his fry up was one of the best he had had at a Premier Inn. I wouldn't recommend eating there in the evening, there is a much better pub on the motorway junction.More
