Five of us fishermen descended at Max's on a Tuesday evening about 8pm, needing repast for a long day on the water. The waitress presented a menu of simple design hand etched on a boad that described the entrees plus available sides. Included were crack conch, hog fish parmesan, chicken jerk, grouper fingers, etc; sides included beans with white rice, plantains, potatoe salad, cole slaw, garden salad, etc. Meals price included one beverage. The group chose either hog fish parmesan or jerk chicken. The hog fish was absolutely melt in your mouth perfect and one of the most delicious fish dishes I have ever tasted. I also sampled some of the jerk chicken and it was incomparable also.
