Excellent hotel. Every room is different. High quality all the way. The restaurants service quality was disappointing, but the place is a great stay for a night or two. Only a short ride from Granada or the coast. Or just relax walking in the wineyards or stay by the pool.

The wine tasting is worth trying.

This hotel is based at the small winery that produces a delicious well know range of 6 wines (Senorio de Nevada). The hotel is situated about 20 minutes south of Granada close to the motorway but you need to drive there. The rooms are well appointed and individual, the food is varied and is of a high standard but aimed at adults rather than families/children (monkfish, salmon, beef, pork and one or two vegetarian dishes but no chicken nuggets or spaghetti on toast! . I ate on the terrace which is a beautiful setting looking out across the valley. The wine shop in the hotel is well stocked with the 6 or so wines produced under the Senorio de Nevada brand, (White, Rose, Ecological and the delicious Reds (Bronze 10euros, Silver 12 euros, Gold 18 euros) blends made with Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown at this winery, plus associated wine paraphernalia which make affordable gifts/souvenirs. There is also the option to have a wine tasting session (which I did not do). There is an outdoor pool situated about 100 metres behind the hotel (good for hotter periods) and ample free parking to the side of the hotel. There is a bar near the pool but it was closed during my August stay. There is a small interior bar right opposite the wine shop but there is also a large reception area with seating and some large functions rooms for weddings etc. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a one/two night stay especially if you like local wine and well prepared food that is not over priced. The staff are friendly and speak English and Spanish. There is not a lot in immediate vicinity but there are some quaint villages along the stretch of motorway close to the hotel. Not for families who like to let the kids go crazy, more a romantic adult focussed venue that would be a great way to pass through the Lecrin Vally.

Room Tip: We had a well appointed room with huge double bed, a terrace looking out across the front of the hot...

We booked the wine tour and a night in this lovely hotel, and really enjoyed it. The wine tour was great, Alexis, very patiently, explained everything about the vineyard in both Spanish and English. She explained all about the grapes and the different varieties, how and when they are harvested, hand picked by women only! She explained the production process, right through to ageing, bottling and finally, we got to taste the wines. We were NOT disappointed, they are really excellent. The red wines, there are three, are of a very high standard, and the 2009 Oro - Syrah / Cabernet Sauvignon / Merlot is so good you have to taste it. At 18.50€ a bottle it's not cheap, but worth every penny. You pay that much for supermarket brand in a restaurant! Think about it!
In the evening we had a nice meal in the almost deserted restaurant. This was because there was a wedding at the hotel and most of the hotel guests were attending that, so there were not many guests in the restaurant. The food was very good, the service excellent. One minor criticism, the ceiling lights were all full on and the floor standing lamps were not. It was much too bright and the restaurant lacked atmosphere as a result, but that could easily be fixed. Our room was fantastic, we were upgraded, that never normally happens to me, and we had a very comfortable night.
A visit to the shop before leaving the following morning was essential, we bought a few bottles of all the red wines and a couple of the Rosé too. We will be buying this wine again, and we will be back at this lovely vineyard / hotel again too.

Room Tip: There are only 25 rooms and they all seem great, but an upgrade is really nice!

A very clean & relaxed hotel hotel
Spent 2 nights here,
The hotel is in a spectacular setting
Majority of the waiting staff have limited English, though this was not a problem & we got by, We would rather this than a 'brits abroad' hotel
The menu is limited for vegetarians, but excellent for meat eaters, Im sure if we had a better grasp of spanish, they would have made some vegetarian dishes for my wife
The meals are run on Spanish time, lunch after 2:00 & evening meals after 8:30, which all adds to the relaxing experience
We would not hesitate in recommending the hotel & intend returning next year

This is a charming luxury hotel with very spacious rooms and open space bathrooms (it is a bit odd). The restaurant is good and from here visits to both Granada and the sierra Nevada are within short reach. pool area is nice, with cool breathes. Front desk service can improve a lot by informing us about breakfast (tell them you want it if it is not included in advance) and there are no pool towels.

Nice place but swimming pool is not as nice as expected.
The hotel is clean and well designed. You can buy their own wine organic production, which is very good!!................I highly recommend it...............................

This hotel/bodega is set in unspoilt countryside with amazing views. Our room was beautifully furnished with an enormous bathroom area. The hotel is ultra modern and very clean. We had the Chef's special meal on the Saturday which was perfect in every way and also the presentation was perfect. We took the wine tasting tour of the bodega the following day which was very informative and included tasting 2 of their wines along with cheese and biscuits. There is a lovely pool area but as the temperature was around 33* there was not much shade so decided against a swim. The staff are all very friendly and for a special occasion we would not hesitate in recommending here.
