We were booked in by the tour company which booked all our accommodation. The couple who run it were responsible for picking us up at the fixed point on our route and also for the evening meal which was extremely useful as the accommodation itself is a little inaccessible for walkers.
They were pleasant and helpful, but just a bit short on attention to detail. For instance there was a toiletries basket in the bathroom which included nothing but a shower cap and there were no instructions on how to use the television which appeared to be controlled from one central receiver. Even our pick-up was a bit haphazard as we left an unacknowledged message on the answerphone and tried to make contact several times before our lift arrived. When approached over things the owners were only too happy to help, but the organisation of the place just left us unwilling to give it a higher rating.
