Unable to comment on the food as there was a conference and the restaurant was closed. We were directed to their sister establishment 'The Black Sheep', in the village. Explained that we had already tried to eat there to be told that it was reservations only. The staff at The Manor were surprised and said that they had not been informed that food was not available there either.
If this is a group, they need to communicate.
Very disappointed and unlikely to frequent either again.

A lovely afternoon spent at the Manor, a walk around the gardens in the sun taking a few photos and then a lovely afternoon tea in the morning room.
Finger sandwiches and a cream tea to die for with cakes to finish, all very light but incredibly filing.
Tempted to return to sample the chefs table now

The team of young chefs led by Executive Chef Harry will provide you with a very memorable dining experience. Their knowledge, innovation and artistry showed in the creative, delectable servings that were brought to the table. From the simple asparagus with poached egg to the crab salad to the "melt in your mouth" steak and all of the desserts, it was amazing! And that was just one meal.

The English breakfast was very tasty and plated with great care and not slopped together. Then there are the breakfast smoothies, mmmm the smoothies. Apparently new and a great addition to the menu.

The service in the bar was very down to earth (ask about the cars, as you are only a few kms from Silverstone) and very personal.

The country setting was beautiful and grounds were exquisitely maintained. A beautiful place to recharge after a busy week of business in London and it is only a 1 hour train ride and 15 minute cab ride from Edgeware Road!

Following a recent weekend visit to "my kitchen" a two very dear friends of mine on my 50th birthday kindly invited me to Larry's kitchen table. I am not easily impressed, however I must hand it to Larry and his sidekick Xavier, for making my evening not only just a culinary experience of gigantic proportions, but also a phenomenal experience for an aspiring cook. My vocabulary doesn't include sufficient adjectives to describe both the food, hospitality and overall enjoyment of the evening. I simply hope Larry remembers the kind offer he made me to become a work experience student in his kitchen. Thoroughly recommended
