We were struggling to find decent places to eat during our visit to the area and came across this place by chance. We turned up without a booking and they were fully booked so we made a reservation for the following day. Restaurant has a lovely view of the bay and we sat outside because it was a very warm day.

Food and service was excellent. The crab tagliatelle was delicious. My husband had the fish platter - he enjoyed the smoked salmon and the crab which were sea fresh and very tasty; the prawns and crayfish were average.

The desserts were fantastic. The syrup sponge and baked cheesecake were both superb.

Small venue so would recommend booking in advance.

Wonderful evening with 6 people. All thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Starters mains and desert all excellent quality well presented and with really good service. Great atmosphere in this small bistro with lovely views of the pretty village and coast. Will return again and again.

Fantastic staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. Food was really nice especially the crab tagliatelle-delicious. They have a good selection of local ales too and the view from either inside or out, is superb. the home made cakes are delicious, I can't praise the place enough-it's ideal for lunch or at night for a more romantic ambience. If you're in Borth y Gest (the Welsh Riviera) you must pay a visit!
