“Stunning views, amazing walks and friendly.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 September 2012

Reading a review of this b&b below, i must disagree with what they have said about the 'land lady' being basically rude. We have stayed at Borth Dairy for 5 years now and have never had an issue with Liz or Colin. We usually stay twice a year, once in spring and towards the end of summer.
We have stayed on our own and with our Granddaughter. Our Granddaughter has dietary requirements and the chef (Colin) was very good and made her a full breakfast avoiding what she can't eat. My husband and I ate the full breakfast which i must say is truly excellent. We have stayed a few times in the Twin bedded room, but have mostly stayed in the Double.
We also like our walks in the morning, so Liz showed us some coastal walks along the beach which was absolutely stunning! probably one of the best walks you could have really. The walk down to the town of Porthmadog is roughly 10minutes (if that).
Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for years, and do not think we would be able to find a better place.

We were so excited by this place when we arrived, the hosts seemed lovely and we loved our room...However our first breakfast was ruined by the landlady, who decided we were too noisy when coming in just before midnight (trust me nothing is open after 1130) she also accused us of going in and out of the building and banging doors. (we'd read a review previously about having to creep around like ninjas so we were ultra careful to be quiet) We In fact creeped in and only went back out once to smoke. She shouted at us In front of other guest(very unprofessional) to leave immediately. My girlfriend was very upset and shocked. The other young guests that stayed in the room only 2 ft away, insisted that we didn't disturb them in any way... Colin then decided we could stay but let's say the rest of the stay was very frosty! This place is definitely suited to older people who wish to be in bed by 10 and trust me you must be totally silent! Good things were that the location is brill, the b&b is totally cute, Colin is very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is delicious!

Perfect and peaceful B&B right on the bay over looking the sea. Its such a beautiful view and the rooms were very comfy. Liz and Colin were ever so polite and sociable throughout our stay and we would defiantly recommend anyone to book. Also, the breakfast was lovely whilst looking at the boats sailing across the sea in the morning.

Room Tip: Both rooms are as good as each other. We have stayed many times.
