Reading a review of this b&b below, i must disagree with what they have said about the 'land lady' being basically rude. We have stayed at Borth Dairy for 5 years now and have never had an issue with Liz or Colin. We usually stay twice a year, once in spring and towards the end of summer.
We have stayed on our own and with our Granddaughter. Our Granddaughter has dietary requirements and the chef (Colin) was very good and made her a full breakfast avoiding what she can't eat. My husband and I ate the full breakfast which i must say is truly excellent. We have stayed a few times in the Twin bedded room, but have mostly stayed in the Double.
We also like our walks in the morning, so Liz showed us some coastal walks along the beach which was absolutely stunning! probably one of the best walks you could have really. The walk down to the town of Porthmadog is roughly 10minutes (if that).
Overall, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay there for years, and do not think we would be able to find a better place.
