Reviewed 10 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

We have just returned from a 4 night stay at the property, wanted a few days recharging our batteries and somewhere we could take our dog for long walks, it was just perfect for our needs the house is spotless, very well equipped, attention to detail in every room, cosy with log burning stove in the front lounge which overlooked the beach, lovely touch on arrival with cake and milk, wanted to stay longer. The house is a great base, Porthmadog is approx 10 minute stroll and other beaches only a short distance by car, recommend Black Rock Sands. We definitely be recommending and returning ourselves.

“Another great week”
Reviewed 29 June 2014 for a stay in June 2014

Four of us and our dog enjoyed another lovely week at Bryn Gwyn. The house is great with everything you need and those fantastic views. Everyone we met in Borth Y Gest was friendly and helpful too. Walks, cycling and running all great from here. We were really lucky to have sunny weather and even managed to swim in the sea. We will be back! Thank you again for sharing your house.

“Highly Recommended”

The house is beautiful - well decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The house was spotless and the owners have made it very comfortable. There were home comforts and everything you need plus more for great break away. The house is at the top of a hill which could make access difficult if you are not able bodied, however it you are fairly fit it is fine.
I would most certainly recommend this accommodation - you couldn't fault it. And the location was great.

“SUPERB HOUSE IN SUPERB PLACE AND SPECIAL PLACE!”

Stayed here this Easter with 3 adults and 4 grandchildren. The house is stunning, with all the amenities that one could ever wish for. The grandchildren, aged 6 to 12 were able to play and walk out across to the bay, that is only 50mts from the house, on their own and to walk beyond to the lovely sandy coves just around the headland, towards the west. At the house, when the evening set in, they loved to have their own living room and to be able to play with the Nintendo Wii that was provided at the house (olus lots of books and board games). The overriding fact was that the house and the place felt really safe and you could let the kids play out as much they wanted, on their own still keep an eye on them whilst playing in the bay.

It was so relaxing because the adults were able to potter about the house and chill out. While kids could play unhindered. the kids just LOVED IT HERE!

This is a truly exceptional corner of the UK! We’ve had hundreds of seaside holidays and this, we have to say, ranks as one of the BEST we have ever had!

“Excellent Accommodation with Fabulous Views”
Reviewed 21 March 2014 for a stay in March 2014

Lovely house, full of character and tastefully decorated, comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Well equipped for all your needs for a relaxed 'away from it all' break. The views from the front bedrooms and lounge and dining areas was spectacular at any time of the day or night. Located in a peaceful, coastal village with lots of places to explore. Two good bistros within a few minutes walk. Don't let the access put you off, our party was the wrong side of 65 and I had a bad knee but managed it perfectly well - although I was let off carrying anything on arrival! Hope we will be able to return next year. Highly recommended.

This is the most lovely holiday home, eveything you could possibly want and with spectacular views!! Nice and spacious and great walks from the door. The coffee shop a short stroll away was very friendly and good value. We hope to be back soon.
