“Very welcoming. Even our dog felt special!”
Reviewed 7 May 2014 via mobile

We've stopped here a couple of times for coffee and cake. The staff are always great and the food and drinks are nice too. Our dog loved the fact he could come in and escape the rain and get water and dog biscuits too!

“Lovely place, and felt appreciated as a customer.”
Reviewed 23 April 2014 via mobile

We came in twice for breakfast recently, and had great service and lovely, high quality food (bacon sandwich and Eggs Benedict). The manager was very friendly and welcoming, and we felt valued as customers.
We will definitely return!

“''Sea View chatterings...''”
Reviewed 13 April 2014

We have been to the original and the new Sea view cafes, the former for many years. As usual the staff are lovely, the café is clean and has a few interesting little things to look at. We ate outside in the sunshine on 9th April, our food was delicious and well prepared and presented.
We enjoyed just watching the changing light over the estuary and mountains. We got 'chattering' to a couple from York who were staying in Betws coed, and had travelled up to Porthmadog for the day, it was their first visit to Borth y gest...and like us...they will be back.

“10/10”
Reviewed 11 April 2014 via mobile

This coffee lounge by day and restaurant by night is perfect! The view is beautiful, surroundings relaxing and food gorgeous. The scones (made fresh every day by the owner) are the best I've ever had and add the clotted cream and jam and I was in heaven! We come to stay in Borth y Gest as often as we can to escape the frenzy of real life and the beaches and coves here are breathtaking and you can feel yourself start to unwind. Dogs are also made very welcome and get their own biscuits!

“We were served from next door too!”
Reviewed 11 April 2014

We had a sandwich lunch on Thursday 10 April 2014. We were four and ordered 2 x prawn sandwiches, a BLT and a cheese Panini with 2 teas and 2 coffees. The drinks came from the bar whilst the food appeared from the establishment next door which was obviously owned by the same owner. The staff were young, polite and friendly. The service was not slow and the food was very tasty indeed. We would use this place again. It has excellent views of the bay and has tables outside for days of good weather. Our weather was dry but cold so we ate indoors!
