A trip down memory lane having not been to Borth Y Gest for a while.

Following a lite lunch and a paddle in the sea we took a table at the Sea view for a classic cream tea, warm scones, clotted cream, butter and jam. Pure luxary on a plate.

This place is worth it for the view alone! Going into Porthmadog there's was no way we thought we would stumble across this small town! On he harbour there is a sign for the coastal path, follow this and you will have a short walk and find this awesome place. Keep walking along the coast and you will come across a secluded beach! Amazing place with amazing views, this little cafe just topped it all off!

We had a very nice lunch with coffees, all very nice. Very friendly helpful staff and a great view sitting outside. Ice cream was also very nice. They are not open every night so make sure you get the right night to try their pizzas

My wife and I plus two friends visited Sea View Tea Rooms while on a short break in nearby Black Rock, Portmadog.
We decided to have brunch about 11am and what a great experience we had. On a glorious sunny day we unfortunately could not get a seat outside but inside the premises were bright and airy with the doors/windows open and the wonderful sea view.
We all had a cooked breakfast with unlimited top ups of tea/coffee.
Good food, friendly staff, sensible prices - give it a visit when you are in the Portmadog area. You won't be disappointed

Sea view tea room was a wonderful discovery for us when we were staying in the area and visited the charming village of Borth-y-gest. It's a cosy tea room with both in-door and out-door seating and the most splendid views over the bay. The staff are welcoming and attentive and we have experienced excellent service both in the day time and evenings (it is open late on Friday and Saturdays). The food is homemade and delicious and we highly recommend a visit here if you are in the area. In particular I recommend the chicken and chorizo lasagne, the best lasagne I have had in a long time.
