Tyn-y –Buarth is a fabulous cottage that is clearly loved by Sue (its owner), with beautiful furnishings and fittings.
The WiFi is good as are the kitchen facilities. There is a landline too.
The cottage is brimming with beautiful flora and birdlife. The garden was sunny all day.
It’s handy for walking down to the beach which is stunning with views across the bay.
Tyn-y-Buarth has beautiful hills behind it and these are clearly visible from the beach.
Sue made us most welcome on arrival quickly briefing us on the cottage and area which saved us a lot of time.
This is the first holiday in years that I have really enjoyed and feel totally rested.
The cottage is super, well furnished and comfortable, with its own parking . This is an ideal base for anyone visiting the area. The owners lovely and extremely helpful as well as being very knowledgable on the local area which help us tremendously.
This is one of the best cottages we have stayed in and we have already booked to come back for an Autumn break. We chose this cottage for its location and for the fact that we were able to bring our two small dogs.
We have no hesitation in recommending the cottage to friends and have already booked again to stay later in the year.
Really enjoyed our stay, Lovely welcome from Sue even had water ready for our dog! and a fab welcome basket full of goodies and essentials,
The cottage was 10 mins walk from an amazing beach and had everything you could need,
We will go back, soon i hope!,
Friendly and helpful greeting by the owner on arrival. We were given plenty of helpful information about the locality. A comfortable and well appointed cottage with good parking. The only thing lacking was a dishwasher but this is probably due to a shortage of space.
Wonderful cottage, very well equipped. Good location for the North Wales region and within an hours drive of many Cadw castles. Within walking distance to Harlech beach and castle.
Contacted by Sue, the owner, to say we could arrive earlier if we wanted to and was here on arrival to show us around. Very knowledgeable of good places to visit and eat. Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Lovely cosy well equipped cottage within easy walking distance of beach. Walks back up either gentle but longer or steep but short so take your pick! Warm welcome from Sue who told us lots of useful information such as dog friendly restaurants and beaches. We loved the local area and Lleyn peninsula; quiet towns/villages & beautiful beaches and the sunshine made a great holiday. Dogs welcome in cottage and beaches we visited all had dog friendly areas. Definitely one to return to.
We chose this cottage because it accepted dogs and was in our ideal location-close to a beach and small town. The cottage was very well appointed, a real home from home. Even the dog had his own 'holiday home' bowls and towels! The log fire was great, ideal when drying clothes from the Welsh inclement weather. Lots to see and do in the area. Sue was very welcoming and the pre-visit direction sheet was really detailed. The neighbouring house has the same owners, so ideal for larger family group. We had a lovely holiday, and the dog loved the local beach at Llandanwg and Harlech and Barmouth also within easy reach. Plenty of choice of pubs accepting dogs. The Last Inn at Barmouth was our favourite for food and general atmosphere. If returning to North Wales we will definitely book this cottage again.
