“Wonderful property, very relaxing and felt at home straight away.”
Reviewed 6 January 2015 for a stay in January 2015

Easy to book and contact with owner very easy with prompt replies.
Beautifully thought out property with plenty of space but cosy and welcoming.
Used this stay as family get together and it was perfect, location suited us and scenery was lovely.
Would definitely book again and look forward to it already!

We stayed here with friends and our young children. We had a fantastic long weekend. The barn is amazing, very high spec with everything you could require and more.
We explored the surrounding areas, had a fantastic day at the beach in Barmouth. For those who enjoy driving the route from Welshpool to Barmouth is stunning. We had a lovely day on the steam railway in Welshpool.

It was great coming back, the kids playing in the garden and just chilling out with a few bottles of wine taking in the beautiful scenery. The barn is big enough so you're not getting in each others way. Beds are really comfy and the bathrooms are gorgeous.

Little tip: Asda deliver to the property, saves you having to bring lots of shopping bags with you.

Big thanks to Marcus who came through when we needed him.

“Beyond beautiful!”
Reviewed 17 August 2014 for a stay in April 2014

We stayed here in April for 3 nights with our extended family. The scenery was stunning and he house was breathtakingly beautiful. It had been restored sympathetically yet had all the modern amenities. Our absolute favourite was the baths, they were amazing! Our children enjoyed the garden and the library was very interesting to look through. I would recommend this to anyone, even people travelling with someone with mobility concerns as there were bedrooms on the ground floor. The nearest town was well equipped and beautiful, if you like vintage/antiques the market set up in the old hall is to die for and we had a wonderful time there.

“Exceeded our expectations”
Reviewed 29 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

As we were a big party aged from nine to sixty plus a dog, this accommodation allowed everyone to have their own space. The Old Granary is equipped to a very high standard. We have found lots of interesting walks, though sometimes not well sign posted and a little overgrown ( adds to the fun ).Be advised, don't rely on the local pubs being open when they say they will, bring your own. We have all had a great week and we would all love to come back.

“Near Perfection”
Reviewed 21 March 2014 for a stay in February 2014

The pressure was on to find a place that satisfied 8 adults expectation. When I came across The Old Granary after searching for weeks I couldn't believe my luck. Everyone loved it. We were 8 adults and two early teens so party of 10 to celebrate my Partners 41st birthday. This place is spacious and I mean really spacious. Its modern without taking away from the true cottage feel.

It's properly heated allowing you to walk around in just a t-shirt all day long. The open plan of downstairs allowed us all to be together without feeling crammed. The kitchen is well equips, all you need is just your food. Every utensil or equipment you need is there. You won't be short of anything. With 3 bathrooms and additional wc there was never a queue and no one was jealous of the others bathroom as they all had its own special feature from jacuzzi bath to wet room.

The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful. We planned to do lots of stuff but just ended up staying all weekend just enjoying the luxury of the accommodation. We did a quick run to the supermarket to stock up on food and drinks and a quick walk up the lane to get eggs. Could you imagine 10 people staying in 4 walls for whole weekend and come away feeling relax and happy. We'll it happened here. We were able to play games play music without fear of disturbing anyone.

We have been scanning the calendar since trying to plan in our next get away here. Perfect location and perfect place. Thanks to the owners that have created such a lovely home and opening thorn others to enjoy.
